More about our impact
Arts, culture & heritage
During the course of this project we have trained 2 new sound engineers, produce 4 songs for 1 EP, and hosted 4 monthly open mic nights. The gang have performed as a band in Stratford-on-Avon as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Dell festival as part of a live performance in from of over 300 people. We have worked with a local artist to produce the artwork for our EP and we hope it will be released in the next few weeks.
Activity, health and leisure
By providing a safe space for people of all levels of ability to participate in something worthwhile, contributes to better mental health. Some of our participants have also relayed their gratitude at the project creating other 'things to do' so they are not just 'stuck in the house all the time' and that they really feel like they are part of a community.
