More about our impact
The environment
It has enabled us to evaluate how rainwater is used and the water butt which was installed on the guttering supplies the water for our water trays inside. Lots of energy saved and recycling of the water.
The local economy
It has been part of the attraction for children to come to our school which helps the school economy with sustainability of children.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We are able to take more children into our nursery provision which has meant that we need an additional adult in school.
Arts, culture & heritage
The resources available to the children within the area enables all children to explore all the arts. We also spoke with the children about the design and they saw it being built as we wanted them to see the process of the build too.
Activity, health and leisure
The children are active all the time in this space and are accessing it all year around. The children love to show it off to family members and new members/visitors/volunteers of our school
