The environment
A number of community and family litter picks were run as part of this project.
Volunteering, jobs & education
These activities could not have been delivered without the help of an amazing team of volunteers who carried out a range of preparation tasks as well as helping at the actual activities. Our aim is to find learning in everything and through this project, parents and families were encouraged to explore and learn in different places across Crawley. From these initial activities, parents went on to attend some of our family learning courses and workshops.
Arts, culture & heritage
Events took place in a range of venues across Crawley including parks, community venues and museums. The themes of the events enabled families to deepen their understanding of these places and the community they live in.
Activity, health and leisure
Our events were designed to get families out together, exploring, learning, becoming more active and trying their hand at different activities.
