Hello! My name is Nirja and I have lived in Fulham all of my life. I went to school in Hammersmith and after this, attended medical school and am now a practising GP. Alongside medicine, I have always had a passion for dance. I have danced throughout my time in education and after qualifying, have started a local dance class for women which has been running successfully since 2016. Through the pandemic, we adapted and moved outside and online to keep the connection flowing which was particularly helpful to combat loneliness and isolation during that time. Last year, I was the recipient of The Rose Project global award celebrating the 5 trailblazing women in their fields. This was for my work with dance and wellbeing. I have co-founded The WorkWell Doctors, and we deliver education on resilience, mental health, burnout and other wellbeing topics. My workshops always integrate these principles and my dynamic mix of skills allows participants to have a truly unique and safe environment to learn and grow.
