More about our impact

The local economy
This project ensured that three professional independent self employed dance artists receive much needed income as the dance sector has been decimated by the pandemic.
Volunteering, jobs & education
This project has enabled young people to build confidence, improve communication skills, use their imagination, make new friends and develop creative thinking along with physical and mental health improvement.Young people were able to volunteer in leadership roles to learn new skills.
Arts, culture & heritage
The project gave a huge boost to children being able to access dance in their local area and finally perform in front of an audience. It also reached a large audience of 125 people. Audience quote: "We need good news these days and the show was such a tonic. The four guests we took with us went away uplifted and delighted. We did too! Please pass on huge congratulations to all involved. To say that you all are incredibly impressive is an understatement! With warm wishes" Penny Graham (Councillor, Hythe Town Council)
Activity, health and leisure
The sessions have enabled the young people to improve fitness, flexibility, wellness and improved coordination. They have also made new friends and their mental health has improved.
