To raise funds to help Crook Town Cricket Club survive during the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic so the club is in a position to survive in the future when normality resumes at some point in the future
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
Crook Town Cricket Club provides a service to the Community. As well as providing cricket with 3 Senior teams who play in the North East Premier League the club runs 7 junior sides for boys and girls as well as providing coaching for children from 5 years upwards through the England and Wales Cricket Board's All Stars and Dynamoes programmes. In addition the clubhouse, which is used by various groups in the local community, and is a popular venue for parties of all descriptions, is closed by government instruction but still need to keep services going in readiness to reopen.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
It will be ready to deliver a service to all when the government gives the go ahead for things to resume
Steps to get it done:
It is important to get children back enjoying sport as soon as is possible
