About the Project Creator
I am a change agent in my private and professional life and try to promote change through environmental education and community development.
I achieved my postgraduate degree in March 2015 in Philosophy and Environmental Studies with a dissertation about Sustainability, Education and Behavioral Change.
In 2016 I completed a Sustainability Design 1-year programme, run by GAIA Education.
In the last two years I have worked within the community development, waste and sustainability sectors, mainly delivering and coordinating training and workshops in schools and organisations.
My deep passion for environmental problems and community empowerment goes back to earlier years, when I started to produce craft items upcycling rubbish and waste material. I create useful objects from waste and I run voluntarily occasional Creative Recycling Art Workshops to teach other people to do the same.
My website is http://https://caticreative.wordpress.com/
I would love to make of this hobby my job, and spread this type of attitude towards waste and nature to as many people as possible.
I am very passionate about nature, gardening and food production, critical consumption, social change and especially hands-on activities, which are the best channel to stimulate creativity and enhance people's involvement in those issues.
I have lived so far in 4 different countries, and after graduating I have travelled around intentional communities, eco-villages and transition projects around Italy, to experience alternative sustainable social models. I am currently Talk Actions’ Administrator and Training Coordinator and Ecoactive's Session Worker in London.
