Updates
We are on the final stretch of our project, with just two sessions left before we complete it in time for Easter. πΏ We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us. π Thanks to your contributions, we have been able to create a truly special space where mindfulness, relaxation, and creativity come together. So far, our community has taken part in a range of activities, including: painting clay workshops decoupage resin art Each session has been more than just art β it has been about connection, slowing down, and supporting wellbeing in a warm and welcoming environment. This project would not have been possible without you. Your support has helped us bring people together, reduce isolation, and create something truly meaningful for our community in Spalding. The impact of this project will stay with us long after the final session β we have built connections, confidence, and a space where people feel they belong. We are already looking at ways to continue and grow these activities in the future. Weβre finishing strong and are so grateful to have shared this journey with you. π« With heartfelt thanks, White Eagle CIC
We are delighted to share that we have already held seven sessions within the project β each one bringing together body and mind, emotion and physical wellbeing, silence and conversation. This growing space is becoming a beautiful place where every generation can find its own corner, its own voice and its own sense of belonging. Thank you for contributing to the creation of something truly meaningful for the community of Spalding. Your support is helping us build a space filled with connection, creativity and wellbeing.
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
Together with Spacehive and South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership we looked closely at our plans and decided to make a small change: instead of 40 workshops we will now run 21, and instead of 4 events we will organise 3. Why? Because this way we can be sure to deliver the project on time, with the best quality, and without stretching our resources too thin. β¨ The good news? Nothing essential is lost β the sessions and events will still bring people together, offer learning, fun and support. π And the even better news? South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership are still with us and continue to pledge Β£5,000 to make this happen. We are so grateful to every single backer who believed in us. Your support means the world, and thanks to you this project is going ahead!
Make your community more stronger, connected and empowered with the South & East Lincs Crowd.
Whoop, 60 people have pledged since fundraising began!
