More about our impact
The environment
We have planted three native field maple's in the plaza which will grow in coming years to provide habitats. We have continued to run our monthly nature sessions which engage children and adults alike. The introduction of planting within the plaza has increased insects seen on the rec. The adaptions to the mowing regime have also helped the biodiversity by providing areas of longer grass outside the perimeter path. A bioblitz was completed in June and results will be compared with results in future years.
Activity, health and leisure
