Coppull Parish Council is organising another Picnic in the Park for all residents, to be held on Springfield Park in June 2023. The event will host lots of activities for children and adults, with the majority of the children's activities being free for the children, to help families during the current economic climate. This type of event was held last year and proved very successful.

What we'll deliver:

  • Hire bouncy castles for the children, free of charge for the children
  • Engage a children's entertainer, again with no charge to families
  • Provide a small fun fair, with a small charge to families

Why it's a great idea:

The benefit to the residents of the village will be enormous during the current economic climate. The first event we held was when Covid bans had been lifted and was a much needed release for many families. Keeping most of the children entertained for free is a great boost, as families with two, three or more children cannot afford to take their children to events.

Steps to get it done:

  • To confirm all the activities that can take place on the day of the event.

Children and their parents will be able to come together in the community to support each other and have a lovely day for very little outlay. They bring their own picnic, although there would be food to buy for those who wish.
