The Station Master's House is now a well used building instead of lying empty. It has been fully insulated to reduce its carbon footprint.

The community hub and Library attracts people into the village centre thus providing additional footfall for local shops and cafes

With the Station Masters House being open six days a week we provide 39 regular volunteering slots within the library each week plus many other roles from trustees and managers to helping at fund-raising events.

We have a wide variety of books to be loaned out including titles that have been awarded literary prizes such as the Women's Prize for Fiction.

Various classes are held in the building including Story time for the little ones and Mindfulness and Photography for adults. Basic computer classes are planned to start in September
