With the help of everyone who so kindly made a donation to support us, we're excited to be able to share the news that phase 1 of the Tickhill Community Library Platinum Garden is now nearing completion and the garden will be open to the public in early summer. The official opening of the garden will take place on Saturday 21st May 2022 between 2p.m. and 5p.m. and we hope you’re able to come along and join us. Thank you for your support!
Just look at what a huge transformation has taken place thanks to the hard work of GB Surfacing! And we now have a fence to provide us with extra security for the garden area. The next steps in Phase 1 of the Tickhill Community Library Platinum Garden Project include planting, and a further surprise transformation project. Watch this space…

This past week saw the GB Surfacing team working hard in all weathers to help us as we begin to create the Tickhill Community Library Platinum Garden. We can really see the area starting to transform now the paving is going down. We’d like to thank GB Surfacing for all of their hard work and also thanks to Paving Stones Direct and Spinks for their support in this project. And so it begins… On 21st Feb GB Surfacing started work on the excavation of the library grounds ahead of the hard landscaping going in. We wanted to share with you the progress so far. Wow! We can’t quite believe that today we have reached the Phase 1 target for our Tickhill Community Library Platinum Garden Project! We want to say a BIG thank you to all those who have pledged and followed us as you have made this possible. This means, that as we enter 2022, we will be able to begin making arrangements for the work on the excavation and hard landscaping to begin which is so extremely exciting! As you may already know, our fundraising efforts cannot stop here as we now need to raise the funds for the final phase of our project, which will enable us to purchase planting; fencing; raised beds; and other such necessary features to make our garden come to life. As our Spacehive campaign comes to a close this month, we will be continuing to fund raise for our garden at the Library. Thank you all once again for your amazing support and for helping to make our garden project idea a reality! We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
