The idea
As part of our year round series of events to mark our 30th anniversary, we would like everyone to join us in the park for a day out. We will have activities for children and families, games, sports activities, temporary tattoos, art and craft activities, face painting and many more.
Water will be provided during the event, and we encourage everyone to bring along a picnic and share if they wish.
Help us make this event happen, and do come along for a family fun day out.

Why it's a great idea
We will invite the families attending our centre as well as the local residents of LBHF, and this will be a great way of integrating the families we work with in the larger community in the borough. Consequently it's a good way for sharing more information about our charity and what we do in a fun way.
And nonetheless, this is a great way of having a day out with your children!

The Summer Party is the finale of our Summer Programme of trips and activities for families who are homeless or living in temporary unsuitable accommodation. Many of the families we are working with are surviving on incomes’ derived from poorly paid work and/or benefits. We are trying to offer the little extras to families, those extras that many take for granted but that are often denied to the families we work with.
