Boleyn Road is located just off Green Street, E7 which is a hot spot for fly tipping. We have identified an unused piece of land and would like to transform it into a community garden.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.

About the Project Creator
The Green Street Community Neighbourhood Team, London Borough of Newham support and engage with local residents to run activities and events and to make changes in the area. We would support residents with the starting up of a community garden or a community kitchen; organise community clean up days; transforming an abandonned piece of land into a community space and help the community to maintain it afterwards; running fun days or street parties; starting up clubs or courses; building residents groups.
By building the community infrastructure we enable residents to network, volunteer and be active and our team is central to strengthening community cohesion and resilience. Our Green Street team is a localised network bringing together physical assets like libraries and community centres with social assets like volunteering and sports activities. A core goal of the neighbourhood team is to increase people’s networks and get more residents active and connected. The Green Street Community Neighbourhood team is creating a new kind of relationship with the community where local people proactively approach the Council with ideas; from setting up sports teams or street parties to cookery lessons or befriending older residents.
