Lorna Taylor, a Trustee of Stretton Climate Care, is passionate about active travel. Cycle touring in the Pyrenees didn't quite prepare her for the sharp Shropshire hills, but she has enjoyed many days out locally, with the mandatory cafe or pub stop en route. Recent travel across Europe has been by rail, and it is a joy to see how extensively cycling is embraced in cities and out in the countryside, with excellent facilities for cyclists. Lorna is keen to make it more possible for local residents to enjoy similar facilities here in the Strettons. Integrated cycle and rail transport is an important step.
