Church and Oswaldtwistle CC

The Latest from New pitches at Church & Oswaldtwistle CC

Our 'square' was ripped up in October with specialist machinery. This created a blank canvas on which loam has been laid and seeded. Now that the weather is warming up, there is a good covering of new grass ready to be prepared. This gives us 14 pitches on which to play matches this season. We are committed to ensuring that expert advise and volunteer time will make these high quality pitches for cricket.

The impact of the work done will be seen in the greatly increased volume of games played in the 2024 summer. For the first time ever we have 7 different Junior teams for boys and girls and when combined with our 3 Senior teams, All Stars and Dynamos programme, we will be providing cricketing opportunities for more participants than ever before.
