The Thomas Gifford Trust was established in 1592 to provide facilities for the people of Charlbury and surrounding area. The trustees and many volunteers worked hard for many years to build Charlbury Community Centre, which is now a thriving community facility in the centre of our town. The Community Centre hosts a large sports hall, community Cafe, pop up gym, multi-use room and modern library. The trust also owns and looks after the Playing Close, a green space in the cente of the town.
The trustees are now working to build a new dedicated gym following the sucess of the pop up gym, which has attraced people of all ages and sporting ability.
