An exciting opportunity to create and fund inspirational projects in your local community
By EDA STUDIOS
An inclusive hub in Ellesmere Port promoting mental health and wellbeing through arts, tailored fitness, mentoring, and community initiatives for children and young adults.
Project Bloom is a dynamic centre championing the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults in Ellesmere Port. It merges dance, drama, fitness, and community initiatives to support holistic development in a deprived area. Founded by Jamie Lee Evans, this creative programme builds confidence, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging. With tailored workshops, arts activities, mental health support, and family wellbeing walks, Project Bloom empowers participants through inclusive spaces. Furthermore, it provides targeted fitness and mentoring sessions for boys and young men, addressing behavioural challenges while fostering resilience, self-belief, and a stronger connection to their community.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
- Improved emotional resilience and coping mechanisms, fostering mental health stability in young participants. - Safe and inclusive spaces will cultivate a sense of belonging, reducing feelings of isolation and boosting self-esteem. - Holistic growth opportunities will empower children and young adults to overcome barriers and realise their potential. - Increased community connection and support networks will aid in building a stronger, more unified local community. - A tailored focus on at-risk individuals will elevate their self-belief and capacity to navigate behavioural challenges effectively.
