Planting trees and this was a local event, so most people did not need to travel far

The history display educated visitors about the history of the hall and its environment. All local groups were invited and many new volunteers pitched in to help

History exhibiton brought together local archive material. It is planned to donate the material to a central repositry such as the Lancashire Records Office

People walked to the events. The circus workshop engaged a younger audience
