Brilliant news, thanks everyone!

A thriving Community Hub now forming an integral part of the community. Bringing people from all walks of life together, reducing isolation and providing vital support and services to many people.
CGCC is a Community Hub providing services and support to members of the community and beyond. The centre is not only a space for local businesses and people to hire affordably but it primarily operates as a Community Hub providing an extensive range of accessible support services. The local authority have sought the help of hubs (us being one of them) to support people in the community that they don't always have the resource or capacity to provide themselves. A wide range of different activities and support services run from the hub including; Community Cafes, Cost of Living Support, 'Free To Be Me' sessions, Forest Schools, Boxing for young people, outreach services, referrals to various partner agencies, weekly youth club, regular activities for children, young people and adults - all for little or no cost to ensure maximum accessibility. This funding will help enable us to continue providing some of our regular activities and support services to support the community and beyond
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The range of activities, events, outreach services, and community support provided by The Hub has helped to bring the people who live in and around Cashes Green together. The ‘Community Hub’ provision is really bringing back a sense of community and belonging to the area and to those people who access the centre. People who use the centre and access our services, not only have somewhere they feel welcome and supported but our services also enable people to connect with other members of the community. This in itself has many benefit layers; not least helping to improve both mental & physical health. We are keen to develop connections between all demographics and believe that this helps to strengthen community. This is why we endeavour to make as many of our activities and events accessible to all without prejudice.
Steps to get it done:
This project will consolidate growth in the charity and promote sustainability to enable the ongoing provision and development of support and services for the community of Cashes Green. BENEFICIARIES Will be better connected to their community Will be more confident Will have better health and/or wellbeing Will feel more in control of their lives STAFF/VOLUNTEERS Will be better able to support people Will be part of a supportive and diverse team Will be better able to support change for the community ORGANISATION Will be more sustainable Will develop better systems and structure Will be better able to plan COMMUNITY Will have a welcoming and inclusive venue Community needs & wishes will be better supported Community needs & wishes will be better represented The community will be better engaged in developing responses to local issues

Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
After discussion with Spacehive and Stroud District Council, we have decided to scale down our project to focus on a selection of specific activities that we provide at the centre. These activities include our Youth Club, Forest School Sessions, Boxing for Young People and our Free2BMe Sessions. This will help us to do all we can to ensure that these much needed and relied upon activities can continue. We are really proud to announce that we will still have the support of Stroud District Council after this change in costings.
