More about our impact
The environment
We have collected surplus food produce from a number of supermarkets and shops which would otherwise have gone to landfill, which has been used in our food parcels, drop-in meals and community pantry.
The local economy
The provision of food via food parcels, community pantry and drop-in meals stopped people going hungry. With this support it helped many households stretch their budgets so that they could pay household bills.
Volunteering, jobs & education
Many of our volunteers were unable to continue helping throughout COVID-19 but have been able to recruit around 40 new volunteers during this period. Many of our volunteers are now returning and we are hoping to expand the services we are able to provide
Activity, health and leisure
By providing fresh produce as well as non-perishable food items, this has helped those receiving our support to have a balanced diet.
