The environment

The environment

Everyone who attended got a good grounding on the state of the climate emergency and what they can do about it. Many of those who attended agreed to take action to reduce their carbon footprints and this will save between 60-100 tons of carbon emissions.

The local economy

The local economy

We hosted the events in local community organisations. Many of them are not for profit, others are sustainable businesses. By hosting our training we brought in money for them also paying for staff time and sometimes brought new people into those spaces.

117 people attended the courses 60 people successfully passed the assessment and were certified as carbon literate

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

Lots of the organisations we worked with were cultural organisations. Metal Liverpool hosted us twice and we connected with the wider Shift Network through them. We also worked with the East and South East Asian Network, which is a network for artists from or with ties to those regions.
