We are an organisation of Palmers Green residents who are passionate about seeing the Broomfield Park's Boating Lake and and Bathing Pond returned to swimmable quality for people of all ages and abilities. It's an ambitous project but our mission couldn't be clearer.

"Let's get people back in the water!"

Broomfield Pond Swim Society are a local constituted group. At the heart of our mission is a love of our community and local park. We plan to hold quarterly open meetings at local cafe and project sponsor Starfish Loves Coffee and membership is free so please get in touch with us if you'd like to be involved. Our plan is to work closely with the Community, Enfield Council and all the stakeholders with interest in Broomfield Park and House to come up with a long term plan to revive and manage the ponds. Our goal is to produce a long term plan for the ponds that honours our local history and serves our current Community of all ages and abilities. Some of the ways we plan to do this is through hosting Stakeholder and Community meetings, planning family friendly water events and having an active presence on social media through a strategic partnership with a local secondary school to reach out to our local youth and families.

Project Owner: Broomfield Pond Swim Society The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.

Contractor : Imperial College The team responsible for building or installing the project.
