Our roots proudly lie in housing the Windrush generation of migrants from the Caribbean who came to rebuild Britain in the 1950s. Our Community Impact team work with residents and communities by supporting them to tackle the inequalities which limit their ability to live well” they do this by:
- Levelling the playing field - providing access to opportunities and reducing barriers
- Meaningful engagement with residents and communities - listening to their voices to guide responses
- Providing 121 support to those in most need who are facing challenges such as debt or poor well being
- Working collaboratively and playing our part in wider civil society through partnerships to tackle inequalities many communities face
