Boishakhi Mela - Leicester

The BOISHAKHI is a non political and non profit social organisation. The Boishakhi was established by the Bangladeshi people from all walk of life living in Leicester city and its sorrounding areas in a meeting held on 20th of October 2019. Mainly it was established to organise and hold a Bangladeshi Cultural Festival popularly known as Boishakhi Mela to celebrate the Bengali new year. 

The Boishakhi promote , encourage and support community activities that will recognise cultural diversity and increase the pride of the Bangladeshi community in the uk.

The Boishakhai promote and uphold the Bangladeshi Haritage and Culture among the wider community living in Leicester and Leicestershire.
