Avening Zip Wire

This project will provide extra play equipment in Avening playpark, specifically a new zip wire for children to share an adventurous, exhilarating experience with friends and family.

Avening Parish Council thank all those who supported its Crowdfunder which also succeeded in securing a donation of £2,000 from Cotswold District Council. Residents will know that we successfully installed the new zip wire in the playpark in time for the summer holidays. We also provided some picnic benches and now await the installation of a bank slide and small roundabout to complete the project - hopefully in the next few months.

Very many thanks to everyone who supported our fund raising campaign. We made our target and have now ordered the zip wire plus a couple of picnic benches. We also secured a more favourable price for the zip wire which will allow us to purchase other equipment for the playpark.
