South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDA) supports anyone affected by domestic abuse living in the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley.
We provide free, confidential and independent advice, skilled practical help and ongoing emotional support and information. For 15 years, we have helped thousands of survivors living in our local communities to feel empowered and informed to live a life free from domestic abuse harm.
We are a member of the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership – a group of four independent charities (including ESDAS, Your Sanctuary and North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service) – working together across the whole of Surrey to ensure that survivors of domestic abuse are safe, and to build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated.
South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Outreach Service (SWSDAS) is currently a service area within Citizens Advice Waverley. On 1 April 2023, SWSDAS will separate from Citizens Advice Waverley and become our own independent charity (Charity reg. number 1200638) The Domestic Abuse service has grown in capacity and service development and now is the right time to pursue our own specialist mission, actively continuing its work with the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership and its commitments under the Women’s Aid National Quality Standards.
