Looks better. Use of outdoor reduces indoor utility costs. Refurbishments in keeping with original building specifications, ie eco-friendly
The local economy
Continued to support with cost of living for members of the community in a variety of ways including - warm hub, energy efficient equipment and tips, subsidised meals
Volunteering, jobs & education
Project provided more volunteer opportunities within the Community Centre such as - cafe support, event support, befriending support
Arts, culture & heritage
We have had several celebratory events bringing the community together with lots of opportunity for community members to engage in diverse cultural activities. Two market style events held with wide range of artisan food and arts and crafts
Activity, health and leisure
house the community health hub for all to attend once a month - these have incorporated services such as blood pressure testing, weight management. Weekly fitness classes including chair based exercise Talking Therapies counselling available by appointment (in house)
