The environment

The environment

Our club is in a beautiful part of the Surrey Hills and, by attracting the local community and visitors, we hope others too will want, like us, to protect this beautiful part of the UK. As a club we are managing a public space and keeping it litter free.

The local economy

The local economy

Our club provides employment for the local community in our clubhouse and taking care of our grounds. We purchase as much of the supplies for our clubhouse from local suppliers. We also open our clubhouse to non-members, offering refreshment to walkers and others enjoying the local area.

The new mower enabled the cricket club to continue to be played on Albury Heath. 70 young people have learnt and developed their cricketing skills this summer as a result.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

The purchase of the replacement mower will allow cricket matches to take place in the 2025 season and beyond providing sport and recreation to the children and adults in the community.
