Cricket was first played at Albury in 1789 when the Earl of Onslow brought over a team to play the village and the game is still being played and enjoyed by all ages on Albury Heath today. We are friendly village club blessed with a ground in the beautiful Surrey Hills and enthusiastic volunteers. Our junior teams play in the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship and the senior team plays in the Surrey Downs League as well as the Mid-Week Village 100.
Albury Cricket Club is part of the Albury Sports Club, a registered chartity, which was established with the purpose of providing healthy recreation for the village communitities south of Guildford.
