More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

Our new minibus with a Euro 6 diesel engine meets the Ultra-Low and Low Emission Zone, contributing to cleaner air in London. It also means that our clients are less likely to rely on taxis or other forms of more environmentally harmful transport.

The local economy

The local economy

Being able to take our clients to nearby shops directly contributes to the local economy. Many of our clients do their entire weekly shop on these trips.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

We use volunteers who assist the clients to enter and exit the minibus. They also help to carry their shopping to their home and assist those who need help whilst shopping such as wheelchair users.

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

We attended places of historical significance and cultural importance on day trips.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

By taking clients on day trips, places of interest and to the seaside, it will promote activity and leisure. It is also important that our clients retain as much physical independence as possible, and the weekly shopping trips allow them to engage in physical activity.
