My name is Amélie Collyer, I am French Canadian and have been living in the UK since 2006. I run a small business, Action Painting Workshops. It's a team-building activity like no other. It's based on, and fuelled by, creativity and can be adapted for small groups as well as groups of up to 100 people.
A year ago I decided the share this concept with children and started organising abstract painting workshops during school holidays. These have been very successful and lots of children have been inspired to develop their creative ideas when back at home.
Also, I have been painting and sculpting for over 20 years and have had successful exhibitions in France and in Worthing.
I am a great believer in the power of art and creativity and how they can help people in their day-to-day lives as well as bring communities closer. I feel that anyone should have the opportunity to be part of a creative or art project.
