We will provide a welcoming environment, comfortable, secure and safe surroundings for therapy sessions for women, youths and families. We will also provide business space support and technology to SME business owners, entrepreneurs and fledgeling or existing struggling business owners. Running The Wellbeing Centre within Brainbox will meet a number of community needs - using flexible hours of delivery within a local area where mental health services are limited and therapy around the family is essential. Local business support services within the area are needed - quality business support to entrepreneurs will meet the needs of local budding business owners. They will be supported with small to medium enterprise training and space for ideas and training services.

Meeting community needs is essential and mental health services to youth women and families is key. Business services which meet entrepreneurs and new and existing business owners will improve the local economy. We will also provide a technology hub, space for action groups and space for meetings and training.
Steps to get it done:
The challenge is to recommission this building 'Brainbox' whilst housing the Wellbeing Centre to suit community needs within the spheres of mental health, training and skills acquisition and building new business entrepreneurial support within the local area to boost the economy with a worthwhile opportunity to benefit the whole community. Families, women and children and youths will benefit as there will be childcare facilities on hand if required to support if users need childcare whilst having therapy sessions, training services, business appointments, or if they simply want to drop in to use the business hub and/or business consultancy or training services on hand. The idea is to meet people where they feel safe and are in a caring, warm, supportive and comfortable environment. Providing a flexible series of therapy rooms for families, women and youth, meeting/training space with a flexible technology-based hub for business owners and entrepreneurs within the Brainbox building.

Hiya have 27 backers so far across the community and beyond - and a number of companies have been approached this coming week and we are waiting for their pledges to come in - lots more going on - On the evening of 30th in Brainbox we are hosting the Mayor of Redbridge and others - it promises to be an interesting and informative evening post World mental health day which happened this week - and BBC Mental Health coverage and local churches and school showing their interest - we know this project is needed within in East London to support youth women and families and build support for all with mental health issues for the future . share share share and pledge - show you CARE.

It is WORLD Mental Health Day October 10th 2018 - we have a project which focuses on this subject - we want to save lives and work with others to assist youngsters women and families with mental health issues to work with professionals specialising this field - we have 19 backers and counting together we can make big things happen - like this project - attend our event on October 30th within the Brainbox building. - Celebrities and Local councillors invited - watch this space...

VolunteerMallards Wood Group Ltd is a group of companies currently trading as a day nursery Mallards Wood Daycare and a tuition centre Mallards Wood Education trading ad Brainbox
The business has been running for 16 years and is very much part of the local community.
Mallards Wood now work in partnership with the local council providing council funded Nursery places including 15 Universal funding and the new 30 hours funding for Nursery school-age children.
Diversifying and giving back - with launching The Wellbeing project with Brainbox
Mallards Wood Directors will be working with local small businesses and also with therapists who want to develop their services out of working hours and meet the mental health needs of the community, leading with services to women young people and families.
Mallards Wood currently employ apprentices and continuously enhancing the skills of current staff This project is an extension of the current work we do so the business advisory role the technology hub will be supporting local business owners entrepreneurs and fragile businesses retain a level of sustainability and building business for successful outcomes.
Our vision is to use what is a relatively underused building to relaunch ourselves working with meeting needs with a local community - we know by working together we will achieve together whilst looking to build our communities to have healthy bodies and healthy minds - enhancing the local economy by providing skills and services within a welcoming safe and secure environment.
Mallards wood borders affluence and poverty and we believe there are services out there where we can provide relatively easy to meet additional services outside of standard working hours to ensure people who work and those who go to school can get the help and assistance they need.
