The idea
Due to Covid-19 and government restrictions the ECB has suspended all recreational cricket.
This has led to an unprecedented and total loss of income for the club at a time of year that would be our greatest income period from start of season member subscriptions and the ongoing match fee income from training, coaching and matches.
The club have made all attempts to reduce non-essential costs at this time but some essential costs remain to for the club to retain viability for a return to cricket later this summer (if allowed) or for future seasons.
We our launching this fund to appeal to club members, friends of the club and our local community to support the club through this difficult period and ensure we can return to cricket at Grove Park in the aftermath of this crisis.
Please support your local club.
What we'll deliver
- Continued maintenance of Grove Park (e.g. contracted grass cutting)
- Covering ground rent costs on our Grove Park ground
- Covering essential ongoing costs - including utility and insurance direct debits
Why it's a great idea
Supporting Yoxford CC through the summer of 2020 were due to COVID-19 the club has suffered a total loss of income from the suspension of recreational cricket.
Ensure that cricket opportunities for men, women and children can continued to be offered at our community cricket club in the future.
