The idea
Join Serendipity Creative Writers for two engaging workshops, celebrating Dewsbury's vibrant Woven Industry and its heritage. Open to all, these free creative-writing sessions aim to capture personal stories and connections to the heavy woollen district through poetry, prose, and art. No prior experience is required—just bring your stories and enthusiasm to this warm and welcoming space that also offers free coffee and cake. Selected works will be showcased in a special publication and displays across Kirklees as part of the Woven Festival 2025.
