Providing food storage equipment in Cadet unit to expand food delivery to COVID19 affected residents
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
With Sea Cadet unit closed for Cadet activities, Worthing Sea Cadet Unit is utilising the premises and transport to provide a support service to the local community affected by the restrictions of COVID19. Current facilities within the unit to safely store fresh and perishable food items are too limited to allow anything other than immediate distribution items. Looking to provide refrigeration storage and mass storage facilities to the Unit to expand the service we are currently able to provide
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Increased support and delivery service to vulnerable and affected local residents isolated as a result of COVID19
Steps to get it done:
Provide valuable support to local residents who are in lock down during the current pandemic
