There will be more spoon carving (whittling) classes if these first 2 are popular. There will also be relief carving classes and maybe other styles of wood carving, as well, later in the summer. Don't worry if you have a reward to claim and can't make either of these two initial sessions, there will be more opportunities!

I've closed the crowdfunder down, since we reached the goal in record time! There will be plenty of opportunity to book directly onto the carving classes as soon as they are properly organised - nobody has missed out! I'll order the tools in the next couple of days and they should be accessible in the LAMM makerspace by next Wednesday's session if you want to get your hands on them early! I'll contact you all individually to see what sort of class you're prefer to attend, if you coughed up at least £15 to help us!

We got to our target with the generosity of Lancashire County Council adding £198 (50% of our goal). This will allow us to buy the equipment we need to run the classes. It will be available to all LAMM members in a few weeks and to the public at our free open evenings on a Wednesday. We'll organise some active classes in the next few months, too! Any pledge of at least £15 here will still get you a "free" place on one of these. Don't worry, though, since after the crowdfunder is over, you'll be able to get a place for £5-20 pay-as-you-feel.
