Wirral Cricket Club is a popular community club with a friendly atmosphere and a thriving junior section.
We are doing everything we can to ensure our ground is ready to play cricket as soon as the current Covid-19 restrictions allow.
Volunteers are helping in any way possible with maintaining the ground and performing essential equipment maintenance.
This maintenance costs money and we have no income from match fees, bar takings or sponsors due to the pandemic.
Our members have contributed by paying annual subs despite no cricket being played, but every contribution will help us to ensure we can get through.
Please help us to cover our costs and ensure we can bring cricket back for adults and juniors as soon as is possible.
What we'll deliver:
- Cover costs of club upkeep during the pandemic
- Pay for essential maintenance and equipment
- Ensure our ground is ready for cricket when we can play again
Why it's a great idea:
The money raised will allow us to have a club and a ground ready for cricket.
Playing and watching cricket brings enjoyment to so many people.
We all look forward to starting up again.
Steps to get it done:
- Cover club costs for rent and ground
- Pay for essential maintenance
