WhyNot is a network of young multidisciplinary creatives. With support from yourself and UNLTD, we can unlock an unused space in our home of East London for collaborative use within our community.
We are creative network providing a platform for all art forms to showcase, connect and share through collaboration. The first ever peer-driven creative agency. We are our demographic, 18-25. Predominantly consisting of creative students, graduates and freelancers. We wanted to create the idea of a modern day jazz cafe. We thought, what could be done within our means to create elements of our vision on a smaller scale? We launched our first creative networking event in December 2014 which consisted of live performances (Musicians, poets, actors), a pop up exhibition (Photography, Design, 3D Sculpture), speed networking and live collaborative art. Since the success we have continued to do these events quarterly as well as doing workshops/seminars and documenting creative processes and content throughout. With support from UNLTD, we are now ready to facilitate the bigger vision.

After having both graduated in creative fields, we had an idea; WhyNot. We identified a problem and wanted to create a solution. WhyNot is not the question, it is the answer. We can help people like us to transition from university into professional environments and to facilitate their ideas. Developing a peer support system via collaboration to identify individuals creative strengths. Steering young professionals and startups to their best use in a safe environment where their worth is valued and not exploited. Through our network we will provide bespoke teams of freelance multi-disciplinary creatives to generate campaigns and projects to give insight into our ever-changing and fast paced youth lifestyle and culture.

Our target audience is 18-25 year olds, predominantly creative students, graduates and/or freelancers. Young people are constantly being exploited and we wanted to create a space from the people for the people, the idea of a modern day jazz cafe.

We are becoming a peer driven creative agency providing insight into youth lifestyle and culture. WhyNot make ideas real by curating bespoke teams of young creatives within our network to facilitate our clients creative concepts and projects. We do this through brand campaigns, generating creative solutions, resources, branding and events.
