The environment
This project has improved the facilities at the park for so many people in the community. It has enabled the park to have work done to the existing surface
The local economy
The swing has enabled people to come to the park and spend money in the local community.
Volunteering, jobs & education
Due to the restrictions imposed by the Government in 2020 this has not increased jobs in the local community and cafe/bar. We are hopeful that this will not be the case in the furture.
Arts, culture & heritage
This project has within the community promoted inclusion and accessibility. It has broken barriers and allowed families to unite for leisure purposes.
Activity, health and leisure
This facility upgrade has given basic human rights back to so many people with disabilities and their carers, allowing them to access the community, feel part of the community and partake in a regular activity that so many of us take for granted, yet currently they have very limited access to.
