Reimagining Industrial Migratory Stories CIC (REINDMIG, Company No. 12057636) is a Community Interest Company dedicated to heritage documentation and community creative projects in the West Midlands. Founded to preserve and celebrate the stories of migrant communities who came to work in the foundries and factories of the Black Country, the CIC works across photography, film, oral history, and digital archiving.
The CIC has three directors: Ravinder Dosanjh, Matt Allmark, and Matthew Cheeseman (University of Derby), two of whom are unrelated, meeting the Crowdfund Walsall governance requirement.
REINDMIG's work has been acquired by the Arts Council Collection, and the project lead, Billy Dosanjh, is a visual artist whose work has been nominated for the Venice Biennale, received the Satyajit Ray Award, and is currently exhibiting at The New Art Gallery Walsall. The CIC has a proven track record of delivering publicly funded heritage projects, including the current National Lottery Heritage Fund supported Paths You Walk exhibition.
