The idea
We got £6,800 worth of kit from the Clean City programme including;
A shipping container for storage
A polytunnnel greenhouse for growing
A great range of gardening and power tools.
Now we need to fill in the gaps, we need a modest amount of money for:-
Seeds and plants
Everyday hardware, like screws/nails and grinding disks.
Miscellaneous plumbing fittings for the water butts and irrigation system.
Potting compost and sand.
Electrical items to wire up the storage container.
Transport costs for donated items.
What we'll deliver
- Brighten up half a dozen locations around Whalley Range, and make you smile.
- Establish our community gardening base at the Forever Garden, St Margaret's Centre.
Why it's a great idea
Community gardening was high on the wish list for Whalley Rangers. With your help now, we can get off to a great start in 2015.

- We'll grow the plants at our polytunnel greenhouse.
