Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have had to close. We have already lost most of our children’s cricket this year and the future is not promising. The club is run by dedicated volunteers who have been challenged with ensuring we can survive financially through this pandemic. We need to pay for critical overheads, running costs and essential ground maintenance despite the loss of income from our bar, match and membership fees. We are going to have to rely heavily on fundraising to survive. West Wittering CC is a community club and we want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to enjoy playing and watching cricket and to continue to make full use of our facilities. This will be more important than ever once this is all over and we need your support to make it happen.

What we'll deliver:

• It will help to pay for critical clubhouse overheads and running costs during the Covid crisis.
• It will help us pay for ground maintenance
• We will support other local causes at the same time

Why it's a great idea:

West Wittering Cricket Club is a big part of our community. We provide a safe and friendly facility where over 80 children, and many adults, male and female, enjoy cricket. In addition many people enjoy social membership and enjoy our events or pop down for a drink in the sun. Our facilities are also a popular local venue and we host a wide variety of events throughout the year. We also want to give something back to the community - we are aware that families are struggling so we will be sharing some of the funds we raise to support our local care homes and food banks. All the support from members and the public is greatly appreciated.
