We are all about mental health! Just like our physical health our mental health fitness is something we should all think about and do things regularly to maintain it. We believe being connected to nature and each other is really important for us to live happier lives and let's face it after being in isolation for so long we could all do with connecting safely a bit more! The growing epidemic of poor mental health is a scary reality with 1 in 4 children likely to be diagnosed with a mental health condition by the time they turn 14. At the MindKind Projects we organise lots of initiatives to help people stay well and have fun. These include social clubs for men and women across Walsall, mental health support courses and activities. People can come to us for a chat, get involved in creative activities and volunteering to help others too. Over the last year some of the things we have done include tree planting, helping the homeless, a trip to Rome, podcasting and even producing a song. We believe everyone should have a chance to get support, meet new faces and use their creativity so we really love it when volunteers and members tell us what they would like to do and we help to make it happen.
