The idea
Due to Government lockdown measures, our club has been closed since March 2020. As such, we have lost all our income streams via membership fees, fundraising events etc.
We are in severe financial difficulty without our regular income streams. Our ground needs regular maintenance, without which we will not be able to resume any cricket if the lockdown is lifted before the end of the season.
What we'll deliver
- Pay groundsman's fees so that he can maintain our pitch and ensure that it is 'match ready'
Why it's a great idea
This project will help pay for our ground's maintenance and ensure that we can provide members from the local community the facility to play cricket when the lockdown is lifted.
Steps to get it done
- Ensure cricket pitch is match ready when lockdown is lifted
- Purchase essential groundwork equipment with any overfunding
- Purchase mobile cricket cage with any overfunding
