The idea
The stage will be set for participants of Underground Sound, local projects and artists to connect with families, friends and friends yet to be met though Music!
UNDERGROUND SOUND is a young people's music project that happens every Friday at the Bridge Collective.
This mini-fest will be a celebration of the eclectic musical expression that happens every week. It's also a chance to inspire people to take part and join in in music-making and other group opportunities that happen at the Bridge Collective and the larger community.
Sharing the message “that music can change people's lives rather than just be used as entertainment”.
What we'll deliver
- Connect with families, friends and local people though music
- Promote that music can change people's lives rather than just be used as entertainment
- Your small donation helps our big gig! Thanks!
- Give opportunity to people that might or might not yet have had the chance to take to a stage
- Have a FREE 4 hour mini festival, bringing people together through music at Exeter Quayside on 11th July 2014
- Raise money for a small PA system for Underground Sound for this gig and so public performances can happen again
Why it's a great idea
Music moves us and connects us.
We enjoy coming together and connecting through music. We want to come and play, share our tunes, melodies and rhythms with you, by the river, in the in the heart of our city on July 11th.
Welcoming everyone to come along and join us in our FREE mini-fest!
It's going to be fun, and we're planning for this to be the first of many opportunities to perform and connect though our music publicly.
Steps to get it done
- 8pm Pack up
- Buy a Public Address system
- Turn up on 11th July, set up, ensuring we're all safe and ready to commence
- Collectively host and participate in a fiesta of eclectic musical performance tasters of lots of different genres
- Go home, feet up, relax!! Breathe!
- Let the good memories grow :)
