Willenhall History & Heritage Society (founded in 1990) works to preserve and celebrate the history of Willenhall, its people and its buildings. The Society meets monthly and, in 2024, took over the former Willenhall Heritage Trust, adopting the current name. We research and promote all aspects of Willenhall’s social, industrial and historical past and actively champion the protection and reuse of important historic buildings. The Society also campaigns for proper archaeological investigation at key development sites. The overall aim is to keep Willenhall’s heritage alive for current and future generations, reflected in the motto: “keeping history alive.”
