The Latest from Union Dance Lockdown Arts Exhibition
Union Dance 2021/2022
What we did in 2021
Last year was a busy one for Union Dance, full of teaching, live performance and exhibitions. Here is a recap of what we achieved:
Dance with Digital online movement and videography courses ran throughout the year giving our subscribers and newcomers the opportunity to learn new skills in a socially distant manner. MJ the teacher inspired us with his energy all year and the good news is, It continues until May 2022.
Union Sound
A fantastic live performance that took place in Charing Cross Library showcasing the collaboration of a range of musicians with contemporary dancers brought together by Union Dance. The show was described by an audience member as ‘magic.. such a mix of quality, creativity, diversity and humility.’
Lockdown Arts
An exhibition with immersive dance events in which photography from Dance with Digital was displayed to audiences with open rehearsals also in Church Street Library and Charing Cross Library. The photography highlighted was produced during the first Lockdown and demonstrated the hope inspired by art during times of uncertainty.
What to expect from Union Dance in 2022
