The idea
We are based in Walsall, which geographically, is an area of high deprivation.. Therefore, A&A Services created a safe space for individuals from a LGBTQ+ and BAME background, providing social support to these particular groups who experience loneliness, isolation and disconnection from the community.
Therefore, we are offering individuals an opportunity to engage with sporting activities in a safe and comfortable environment. We will offer activities such as: rounders, football, badminton, Zumba and dance. Activities will be carried out indoors in our office location, as well as outdoors in the local park. Also, we also want to give individuals the opportunity to also take part in gardening activities such as flower arrangement, watering and taking care of the plants etc.
Furthermore, we will be offering indoor activities such as arts and craft workshops, karaoke, boardgames and puzzle, talk therapy.
