Bantu Notts CIC is a Nottingham based community organisation working with young people through music and digital creativity. We create safe, welcoming spaces where young people can explore sound, express themselves, and build confidence using everyday materials and simple digital tools.
The organisation was founded to respond to a lack of consistent creative spaces for young people in St Ann’s, particularly for those from Black and Global Majority backgrounds. Our work is shaped by listening to young people and responding to what they say they need more creative freedom, connection to place, and opportunities that feel made for them.
Through projects like Music Hut , we bring creativity into community spaces and local parks, turning overlooked materials into music and shared experiences. Our approach is rooted in care for people, place, and creativity, with a strong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and youth led expression.
